The Qualifications of The National First Grade Artist :-

The National First Grade Artist is the highest grade among the professional artists in China. Professional artists in China are classified under 4 different grades. The Grade Forth artists are the lowest grade, which refers to professional artists who are ordinary full-time painters. National Third Grade Artists are professional artist with the minimum qualification of a lecturer in the art college in China. The National Second Grade Artists are professional artists who are the Associate Professor in the China Art College.

A National First Grade Artist is a professional artist with the experience and qualifications equivalence to a Professor in the University of Art. The Chinese Authority highly recognize the contributions of the National First Grade Artists and, has therefore granted privileges to this grade of artists in terms of public housing, medical welfare etc.
