The calligrapher Huang Song Tao was born in WuHan City, HuBei province, China in 1900. He started his painting and calligraphy during his childhood.

Huang Song Tao's paintings and calligraphy won numerous awards in the nationwide exhibitions. Throughout his professional career in Chinese Brush Painting and calligraphy, his paintings and calligraphy were selected to take part in many International Art Exhibitions.

He is presently a Committee member of the China Musical Association, WuHan Branch, member of the China Calligraphers' Association, and, member of the WuHan City Historical and Literature Research Center.
