The artist Zhang Zheng was born in 1942 in HeˇŻnan Province of China.
Zhang Zheng Started the learning of painting the Chinese brush painting since his young age. His paintings were selected to participate in some regional art exhibition even as early as he was attending the secondary education in China.
In 1962, Zhang Zheng enrolled into the He'nan University where he received the intensive training on the methods of Chinese Brush Ink Painting. He graduated from the University in 1962 and begin his career as a professional artist since then.
Since 1972, Zhang Zheng's painting were selected to participate in art exhibitions held by the various Provincial Artists Associations. He begun concentrating in painting of Chinese landscape in the 1970s, some of his painting of Chinese Landscape were published in newspapers i.e. The Workers' Daily, He'nan Art Paper. Zhang Zheng also held Solo Art Exhibitions in USA, Japan, Singapore and, Hong Kong.
Zhang Zheng is presently the President of the Dabieshan Art College of China.
