Artist Yi Zhi Qun was born in Hunan Province in 1938. He study of painting in the Guangzhou College of Art. After his graduation in 1960, he was appointed as the lecturer in the same College.

He was an artist of the Wuhan Art Academy and the Art Editor of the Nanchang News. A member of Artists Association of China. A National First Grade Artist. Also an Art Professor of Hainan Art University.
