The artist Li Guan De was born in 1969. He graduated from the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University. He is a member of the He'bei Province Artists Association and, Vice-President of the Oriental College of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting.

Li Guan De's loving for the art of Chinese Brush Painting is inherited from his father Li Dong Xu, a professional artist. He started painting since his childhood. In 1993, the Artists Association of He'bei Province held his solo art exhibition in He'bei.

Li Guan De's paintings were selected to participate in numerous art exhibitions. His paintings were awarded a silver medal in the 2nd Chinese National Art Competition and, a bronze medal in the First Art Exhibition of the Contemporary Chinese Artists. During the Exhibition, he was named one of the World Most Outstanding Chinese Artists.
