LI GUI YANG was born in 1946 in Xuchang City, He'nan Province, China. Also known as "Kai San Gong". He is a member of the Artists' Association of China.

LI GUI YANG's paintings were selected to participate in numerous Nation wide exhibitions in the recent years. Most importantly, in 1993, his painting AFTER THE SUNSET won the gold medal at the First National Landscape Painting Exhibition. In the same year, his painting DIFFERENT LANDS AND THEIR UNIQUE FEATURES won the EXCELLENT WORK award at the First National Chinese Paintings Exhibition. He biography was published in "The Annual Of The Chinese Paintings" and "The World Famous Chinese Artists Almanac".

In 1997, he was invited by Tiandu Art Gallery to hold a solo art exhibition in Singapore and the art-book Paintings Of Li Gui Yang was published.
