1966 : Born in Yongxin town of Qu county, Sichuan province, China.

1987 : Finished his formal education in Sichuan Normal University, and began his artist career by learn in Chinese calligraphy and painting, with the help of two famous artist, Mr. Zhu Changdi and Xiu Jijun.

1992 : Won art prize in the Exhibition of New Artist's New Works, where his work was honored as an outstanding Piece; then exceptionally accepted as a member of the Sichuan Association of Calligraphers; his name appeared in the dictionary Who's Who of Contemporary Young Calligraphers in China (published by Xinhua Publishing House).

1993 : Began to stress on the study of folklore as well as the western modern painting, succeeded in creating the painting series, Customs and Landscapes of Ba and Shu (two ancient prefecture which constitute the main body of Sichuan), took part in not only the Fourth Self-worded Poem Exhibition of Calligraphers from China and Japan, which was co-held by the national Calligraphers Association of China and Japan, but also the Annual Exhibition of the Distinguished Calligraphers in Japan in 1992 and 1993 and won prizes. Some of his calligraphy and painting works have been selected to be displayed in the exhibition hall of Binku county, Jiafu county and Guangshan county in Japan, Mount Emei and Cheng Yi's (one of the ten distinguished Marshals in China) old house (Lezhi county) in Sichuan. Some other works have been chosen in the collection book of the various exhibitions. In March 1993, edited a special column titled About Me on the newspaper, Chengdu worker's Daily to deliver his reviews on calligraphy and his own representative work.

1994 : Was assigned by the Provincial Organization Bureau to work in Wusheng, a county in Sichuan, set his foot on the countryside of Wusheng, Yuechi county, Hechuan county, etc. Succeeded in writing the series of Dreams of an Addict, which was edited in Sichuan Telecom with a special column to review it technique and representative works, His brand-sculpting Work were chosen to take part in Third National Invitation Exhibition of Character paintings in Chengdu, 1994 and the First Landscape Painting Exhibition of the Chengdu Painting School.
